This policy explains what Bid Nashville collects through bidnashville.com and the client pages hosted on it, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who we are

Bid Nashville is a real estate and auction marketing company based in Middle Tennessee. We are not licensed and we do not sell real estate. We hold no real estate brokerage or auctioneer licence, and we do not list, sell, or auction property or hold client funds. Auction and brokerage services referenced on this site are provided by our clients — independent, separately licensed brokerages and auction firms.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you submit a form — a property enquiry, or a request to have an analysis emailed to you — we collect your name, email address, phone number where provided, the property address, and any details you add.
• Calculator inputs. If you ask us to email you an analysis, the figures you entered are sent with it so the analysis matches what you saw.
• Usage data. If you accept cookies, we collect standard analytics data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not collect sensitive categories of personal information.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and send the analysis or information you requested.
• To follow up about the specific property you contacted us about.
• To pass your enquiry to the licensed client best placed to help — for example The Shuford Group or Harris Auctions — where that is the point of your enquiry.
• To measure how the site performs and to show relevant advertising, where you have accepted cookies.

Cookies and tracking

The site sets a small cookie to remember your cookie choice, and another to avoid showing you the same prompt repeatedly. These are necessary and always set.

Analytics and advertising tags — such as Google Analytics and the Meta pixel — load only if you accept the cookie notice. If you decline, they are not loaded. You can change your mind by clearing cookies for this site and reloading the page.

Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

Who we share it with

• Our clients. Licensed auctioneers and brokerages, where your enquiry relates to their services.
• Service providers. Our website host, form processing, email and customer relationship management tools, which process data on our instructions.
• Where required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to follow up and to meet record-keeping obligations relating to real estate and auction transactions, then deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct anything that's wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop contacting you, or stop using your data for targeted advertising.

Email luke@theshufordgroup.com and we'll deal with it. There's no charge, and you don't need a reason.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and held with reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive documents or financial details through a web form.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page.
